• Initiative of the project: Lucas di Grassi, Pilot Professional Formula 1, and Ituano Motor Sport Club, a non-profit and sporting character.
• Develop the motoring through the initiation of adolescents as athletes in their main base category, the kart. So young people who naturally would not have access to automobiles may know him and develop him in a technical way.
• Provide the teaching of riding, theory of competitions, rules, and finally, practice drills on the racetrack. All this, without any distinction on grounds of social condition, breaking the barriers of elitism so common in this sport.
• Emphasize the social health, raising the national sport, the promotion of motor sport, sport participation, the study and teaching sports techniques, mechanical and technological.
• The Project will allocate 10% of all its seats for students enrolled in public schools.
• 40 students will be selected each month through free registration on the website of the Project, totaling 320 candidates per year. The top 5 placed the finals of each month, are classified for competition at the end of the school year.
• Classes will be held on one weekend of each month divided as follows:
Saturday, introduction of participants, visits to the circuit, theoretical mechanics, piloting techniques, concept and sports rules, preparation of equipment, and the end of the day a celebration dinner for the students, instructors and mechanics; Sundays, pilots go through intensive training and put into practice what they learned, will initially drive the kart with the instructor to become familiar with the equipment and with the track, then we will evaluate the performance of each. In the afternoon there will be competitions, where each student must show their performance.
• The school provides all necessary support for learning safely, especially skilled monitoring and prompt medical attention.
• For the overall winner each year will be given the opportunity to go karting championship graduate.
• The Pilot of the Future project has a commitment to future generations of Brazilian auto racing, karting and training is a priority for these new talents.
Law for Encouragement of Sport
• In the same manner as the Rouanet Law, allows the deduction of income tax due in each calculation period (quarterly / yearly) by a corporation subject to tax on taxable income, the amounts spent as a donation or sponsorship for projects approved sports.
• The limit is 1% of tax due in each settlement period.
• Values are deductible for purposes of determining income and the calculation basis of social contribution. The incentive because it acts directly on the IR, without affecting its cost base.
